Alabama Point
The Alabama Point, also called the Orange Beach Point, as one of the most scenic areas on the coast. It offers long boardwalk access, wide beach views, and strong shoreline scenery, but it also requires a longer walk to get down to the water’s edge, so it may not be the best fit for every group.
Gulf State Park
The Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores is a highly recommended location because it offers easier access, good parking, and a shorter walk in many areas. It sits right near the line between Orange Beach and Gulf Shores, giving families a beautiful coastal setting with a mix of beach scenery and a more convenient approach.
Beach houses and condos
We can come to your beach house or condo. Your family can be photographed right at rented beach houses and condo properties. This is especially helpful for larger families, reunion groups, grandparents, young children. But in the summer months, many condos could be extremely busy on the beach, so one of the state park locations might be a better choice.
Permits required
To photograph family beach portrait sessions at any of the Gulf State Park locations, like at the Point in Orange Beach or the Gulf State Park Pavilion area in Gulf Shores, it requires a shooting permit.
